A trip to Kaghan Valley , Pakistan

Natural beauty is un matched. Pakistan have world most beautiful places for visit, specially at its best in northern areas of Pakistan and Kashmir region.

The Kaghan Valley  is a valley in the north-east of Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. It attracts many tourists from around the world. 

The Kaghan valley is named after the town of Kaghan rather than for the Kunhar River which flows through the length of the valley. The valley extends 155 kilometers (96 mi), rising from an elevation of 2,134 feet (650 m) to its highest point, theBabusar Pass, at 13,690 feet (4,170 m).

Naran is the main town and tourist destination in valley. It is the base station that allows further travel to sites such as Lake Saif-ul-Malook and Lalazar. The peoples of the valley speak Hindko and Gojri, while Urdu, Pakistan's national language is also familiar among the locals due to the presence of the tourist industry. The region is Alpine in geography and climate, with forests and meadows dominating the landscape below peaks that reach over 17,000 feet (5,200 m).

 Saiful Muluk, named in a folktale as the meeting site of the lovers, is the main attraction in the valley and with its 3,224 m above the sea level, is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. The water is spectacularly clear because of the surrounding glaciers that are reflected in the lake. It is accessible by road during the summer months or can be reached by tracking from the nearest village Naran, which is 10 kilometers away. Once you get there, try to look at Malika Parbat, a mountain peak of 5, 296 m which is guarding the valley.

Other beautiful lakes are Dudipat Lake, enclosed with high peaks and Lulusar Lake which is approximately 48 kilometers away from Naran and has an altitude of 3,330 m. It is surrounded by wildflowers in almost all colors imaginable.
